1. Who we are

PreTaskPlanner LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”), a Delaware limited liability company, operates the service and is the data controller. The service provides AI-powered pre-task safety planning and risk analytics for construction and industrial professionals. Contact: privacy@pretaskplanner.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — the email address you use to create and sign in.
• Content you create — the pre-task safety plans you generate, the task and job details you enter, and any company logos you upload.
• Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the service.
• Billing information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.
• Marketing-consent record — if you opt in to marketing emails, we record that consent and its date.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the service; generate safety plans and analytics from the details you enter; create and manage your account; process subscriptions and billing; maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the product; and, where you have opted in, send marketing communications (see Section 4).

4. Marketing communications

If you opt in, we may use your email address to send you product updates, safety tips, and news about PreTaskPlanner and its features. These marketing emails are optional and separate from essential account and service emails (such as confirmations and security notices), which we send as part of operating the service.

You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any such email or by contacting us at privacy@pretaskplanner.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your account or your use of the service.

5. Legal bases for processing (EU/UK users)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service and your account); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the service); compliance with legal obligations; and your consent, where we rely on it — including for marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.

6. AI processing

Plan generation and the Safety Assistant utilize one or more third-party artificial intelligence providers. To generate AI-assisted outputs, the information you submit is transmitted to those providers for processing. We select providers that contractually agree not to use customer content to train their public AI models unless expressly disclosed otherwise. We may change AI providers from time to time without prior notice as part of operating and improving the Service.

7. How and where data is stored

Your data is stored in Supabase, which is built on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is isolated per account using row-level security so that each account can only access its own data.

8. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the product — for example, Supabase for storage, Stripe for payments, our AI provider for plan generation, and our email provider for sending service and (opted-in) marketing emails — and where required by law.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; obtain a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where we rely on it. California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. 10. Data retention & your choices

You can access, export, and delete your own data. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact privacy@pretaskplanner.com. We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies necessary for authentication and to keep you signed in during your session.

12. Children’s privacy

The service is intended for safety and construction/industrial professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

13. International users

We operate the service using providers located in the United States. Your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. by our infrastructure and service providers (including AWS, Supabase, Stripe, and our AI provider). By using the service, you understand your data may be processed in the United States.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
